    ASELSAN at SAHA 2026: Introducing next-generation multi-domain defense systems

    ASELSAN’s latest launch portfolio, introduced at SAHA 2026, reflects a broader shift in defense thinking. Success in the field no longer depends on standalone systems, but on how multiple capabilities operate together within a layered and integrated defense architecture. Each solution is designed to function as part of a coordinated structure, enhancing overall operational effectiveness across domains.

    A Unified and Integrated Operational Approach

    This approach represents more than a combination of systems; it defines a networked operational framework where sensors, effectors, and decision-making elements operate in coordination. Detection, command and control, electronic warfare, and kinetic response are no longer isolated functions, but interconnected layers of a single architecture.

    At SAHA 2026, ASELSAN showcases its leadership by introducing a new generation of systems in the domains where it already holds a strong position. These systems are designed to operate within this integrated structure, strengthening the ability to respond to both conventional and asymmetric threats across land, air, sea, and electromagnetic domains.

    New Systems of Naval Strike Power 

    At SAHA 2026, ASELSAN’s naval portfolio demonstrates how this integrated defense approach extends into the maritime domain, as well. In the subsurface domain, ASELSAN launches KILIÇ Family of Kamikaze Autonomous Underwater Vehicles, introducing expendable autonomous systems capable of detecting, tracking, and neutralizing maritime targets with high precision and low visibility, supporting distributed and asymmetric operations.

    In the surface domain, ASELSAN has launched its brand-new product, TUFAN Unmanned Surface Vehicle, which brings autonomous operation, swarm capability, and mission flexibility to surface missions, supporting reconnaissance, surveillance, and offensive roles.

    Extending the Electromagnetic Layer

    Electronic warfare forms another critical component of this layered architecture. In this domain, ASELSAN highlights new version of KORAL, KORAL AD Air Defense Electronic Warfare System, at SAHA 2026 which provides advanced electronic support and attack capabilities against hostile radar systems, enabling detection, classification, and suppression at long ranges. 

    The new version of ILGAR Communication Electronic Warfare System, which is also on the spotlight at the exhibition, further enhances this layer with mobile electronic attack capabilities targeting V/UHF and partial SHF communication systems. Combining electronic attack, electronic support, and direction finding on a highly mobile platform, ILGAR ensures operational flexibility in dynamic environments.

    Expanding these electromagnetic spectrum capabilities into the counter-UAV domain, EJDERHA High-Power Microwave Weapon System neutralizes mini and micro unmanned aerial vehicles, particularly swarm threats, through high-power electromagnetic wave technology by strengthening layered air defense against emerging asymmetric threats. Equipped with a newly integrated radar, enhanced electro-optical systems, and improved engagement effectiveness, the system has evolved into a fully autonomous, stand-alone counter-UAV solution.

    Layered Counter-UAV Defense

    Counter-UAV capabilities are structured as a multi-layered defense within this integrated architecture. Systems operate in coordination to deliver detection, tracking, and neutralization through both soft-kill and hard-kill methods. Newly introduced systems of ASELSAN further extend this layered defense.

    ASELSAN has underlined its vast expertise and capability in the field of counter-drone solutions with its news products such as GÖKALP and MİĞFER at SAHA 2026. GÖKALP Autonomous Kinetic Drone Interception System operates as a high-speed interceptor drone designed to neutralize FPV and kamikaze threats through kinetic impact, offering cost-effective and agile response capability; whereas MİĞFER Self-Protection FPV Interception System provides close-range self-defense for armored platforms with an integrated detection and physical neutralization system, optimized for mini and micro-UAV threats.

    The company also unveiled a new version of GÖKBERK, GÖKBERK 10 kW Laser Weapon System, which adds a directed energy layer to this architecture, delivering precise and low-cost physical neutralization against close-range aerial threats. Designed for the protection of critical facilities, land platforms, energy plants and headquarters, GÖKBERK 10 kW uses a high-quality indigenous laser source supported by advanced electro-optics and tracking sensors to engage Class I fixed-wing and rotary-wing UAVs as well as improvised explosive threats. Its silent, invisible, and highly precise engagement capability enables effective day-and-night operations with minimum power and maximum efficiency.

    Airborne Layers Feeding the System

    Airborne systems play a critical role in feeding the integrated defense architecture with high-quality data and precision strike capability. By delivering continuous surveillance, target detection, and tracking data, these systems support faster and more accurate decision-making across the operational chain, ultimately enhancing the effectiveness of both defensive and offensive responses within the integrated architecture.

    ASELSAN’s new FULMAR 500-A AESA Surveillance and Reconnaissance Radar unveiled at SAHA 2026, complements this capability with multi-function AESA radar, delivering air, land, and maritime surveillance alongside SAR, ISAR, and GMTI modes within a single system, significantly enhancing situational awareness. It stands out with its ability to detect surface-laid naval mines, identify low-altitude drones, and deliver high-resolution imaging through its advanced SAR capability.

    On the strike side, TOLUN munition family integrates seamlessly into this ecosystem and at SAHA, ASELSAN has launched new versions of the TOLUN family. TOLUN-L stands out with its integrated laser seeker, enabling precise engagement of moving and time-sensitive targets with minimal collateral damage; whereas TOLUN-F includes a cockpit-programmable, time-delayed electronic fuze and a proximity sensor that allows the warhead to detonate at a specific distance before hitting the target. Newly unveiled TOLUN-EW expands operational flexibility by introducing loitering electronic attack for suppression and disruption missions.

    A Defense Architecture Built on Integration

    Presented together at SAHA 2026, these systems reflect a portfolio shaped by a single principle. Each capability contributes to a larger, integrated whole. Their effectiveness lies not only in individual performance, but in how they operate together within a layered architecture.

    Rather than offering standalone solutions, ASELSAN continues to develop a scalable and adaptive defense ecosystem, where electronic warfare, counter-UAV systems, airborne payloads, and naval platforms collectively deliver a unified and integrated operational capability.
