The Israeli Ministry of Defense (IMOD) has entered into a purchase agreement with Smart Shooter for the delivery of SMASH Hopper lightweight remote-controlled weapon stations, alongside spare parts and associated services.
The value of the order is approximately NIS6.7m, with supply scheduled for the second half of 2026.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Ministry can opt to purchase additional SMASH Hopper systems valued at approximately NIS6m within a four-month period, with further services available for around NIS1.9m.
If exercised, the total contract value would reach up to NIS14.6m.

SMASH Hopper is a portable, remote-operated fire control platform intended for stationary and mobile use. It can be deployed on light vehicles, robotic units, and fixed installations.
The system is intended to support military units in a range of operational environments, such as urban areas, border security, and facility protection. Its design enables the targeting of both ground and aerial threats, including drones.
Mor added: “The remotely controlled SMASH HOPPER system enables forces to engage ground and aerial threats with high precision, while keeping soldiers at a safe distance.
“As drones and other rapidly evolving battlefield threats continue to challenge forces worldwide, SMASH systems are proving to be an effective operational solution for precise, controlled engagement of both ground and aerial threats.”
Smart Shooter’s SMASH fire control technology is already in use among military and security forces in the US, Israel, the UK, Germany, and multiple NATO and allied countries.
Earlier in the month, Smart Shooter announced a contract with the US Army valued at approximately $10.7m for SMASH 3000SA rifle-mounted fire control systems and related services.
