ARX Robotics has outlined a series of expansion initiatives, including the establishment of a new headquarters and production facility in Munich, Germany.
The move comes as part of the company’s new phase of growth and the launch of a global brand identity, reflecting its transition from a defence robotics start-up into a broader European defence technology company.

ARX Robotics expects the expansion to raise its manufacturing capacity in Germany fivefold by the end of this year.
As part of the growth strategy, the company will increase its operational and industrial activities in Ukraine and the UK to meet the growing demand for sovereign and rapidly deployable defence technologies
Plans also include broadening of footprint in additional European markets and aims to strengthen its role as a European defence technology firm.
In Germany, ARX Robotics will open a representative office in Berlin to enhance engagement with European defence and industry stakeholders.
The company further announced intentions to double its headcount by the end of 2026, attributing this target to the rapid growth of the European defence technology sector and the company’s ongoing investments in personnel, innovation, and industrial capabilities.
The updated growth strategy follows what ARX Robotics called a period of “significant momentum”.
This includes major uncrewed ground vehicle (UGV) deployments in Ukraine, substantial defence contracts and Programmes of Record in both the UK and Germany, as well as strategic partnerships with other defence and technology companies aimed at developing autonomous and software-defined defence systems to be adopted by allied forces.
In addition to its operational expansion, ARX Robotics has revealed a new brand design.
According to the company, the updated identity is intended to visually represent its growth and evolving position within the European defence landscape, emphasising its stated mission of bridging technology, innovation, and speed to support defence readiness.
To support recruitment for its next phase, ARX Robotics plans to launch across Europe brand and hiring campaign across digital, print, and out-of-home channels.
ARX Robotics chief executive officer and co-founder Marc Wietfeld said: “Europe is entering a new era of defence defined by speed, autonomy and sovereignty. ARX Robotics was founded with that belief at its core.
“Over the past years, we have rapidly scaled from a defence robotics start-up into a next-generation European defence technology company supporting allied forces with battle-proven systems.”
In April this year, ARX Robotics signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Supacat to collaborate on the development, integration, and deployment of robotic and autonomous systems for land forces in the UK.
