India has signed a contract with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc for the leasing of two MQ-9B Sea Guardian drones, Economic Times reported.The agreement is valued at approximately ₹1,943 crore and was concluded on 17 August 2026.The Ministry of Defence confirmed that the lease will run for thirty months, during which the Indian Navy will operate the advanced High-Altitude Long-Endurance
