WASHINGTON — The Marine Corps welcomed its final MV-22 Osprey into its fleet today.  The aircraft is the 359th Osprey delivered to the Marine Corps and completes the program of record — prompting the service to invest in modernization initiatives for the aircraft moving forward, according to a Marine Corps news release.  The Marine Corps’ Osprey fleet reached initial operating capability in 2007, logging more than 686,500 flight hours across 114 operational deployments. WASHINGTON — Boeing has incurred a $280 million charge on the troubled VC-25B program, the company announced today during its second quarter results, pushing total losses the global aerospace manufacturer has suffered on the planned Air Force One replacement north of $3 billion for the first time. On July 8, Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Justice approved a regulation governing registration and operations of the residents of the Besqala Mining Valley. Prospectors here won’t be mining for gold, uranium, or copper – they are mining cryptocurrency. Developed by the National Agency for Prospective Projects (NAPP), the new regulation is in accordance with the presidential resolution from April 17 to establish the first-of-its-kind special crypto mining zone in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, covering its whole territory.
