ARX Robotics and Supacat have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the development, integration, and deployment of robotic and autonomous systems for land forces in the UK.
Under this strategic partnership, ARX Robotics will combine its uncrewed ground vehicles (UGVs) and Mithra software with Supacat’s know-how in high-mobility defence vehicles to improve interoperability between crewed and uncrewed military platforms.

This initiative is in line with the objectives set by the UK Government’s Strategic Defence Review, which emphasises on strengthening war-fighting readiness, increasing the adoption of uncrewed systems, supporting the UK defence industrial base, and enhancing Nato force integration.
The collaboration seeks to apply “operational lessons” from recent conflicts, such as those in Ukraine, where uncrewed systems have taken on greater roles in intelligence gathering, logistics, and risk reduction for personnel.
ARX Robotics and Supacat aim to develop these capabilities for practical use by allied land forces. The former will supply its UGVs and Mithra hardware and software to integration efforts, while Supacat will contribute its vehicle design, manufacturing, and through-life support.
The purpose is to develop digitally enabled land operations and increase the uptake of robotic systems within Nato-aligned militaries.

Both companies intend to explore expanding UK-based manufacturing and integration capabilities in robotics, in support of the UK Government’s aim to develop national defence, industrial capacity, and technological progress.
The agreement also supports broader European efforts to strengthen industrial resilience and ensure reliable access to scalable and interoperable autonomous land systems for the UK and its allies.
