The vehicle is a new design intended as a versatile multi-purpose platform, according to Paramount.
The vehicle incorporates features to support both urban warfare and off- and on-road reconnaissance missions. It offers modular structure, enabling users to adjust and upgrade the vehicle for different operational requirements.
Created to be adaptable and configurable for multiple missions, Simha 4×4 can be deployed for reconnaissance, internal security, border protection, special operations, command-and-control, troop movement, and force protection.
According to the Paramount, the new vehicle was designed and tested in a short time-frame using advanced digital platforms while maintaining a focus on product validation.
Paramount senior vice president Eric Ichikowitz said: ”Around the world, defence forces are looking for highly adaptable platforms that can perform multiple missions, integrate emerging technologies and be produced locally.
“The Simha has been designed from the outset to meet those requirements. It combines protection, mobility, modularity and affordability in a platform that can evolve alongside changing operational needs.”
KSSL and Paramount have positioned the Simha 4×4 to support local industrialisation in partner countries, aiming to assist national defence production strategies and reduce long-term reliance on foreign supply chains.
The vehicle adds to the range of defence products jointly developed by the two companies, reflecting ongoing industrial collaboration between KSSL and Paramount.
