Smart Shooter has secured a $10.7m contract to supply the US Army with SMASH 2000LE fire control systems, also known as the SMASH 3000SA, along with related support services.

The follow-on contract has been issued through PAE Defensive Fires and will be executed through Atlantic Diving Supply (ADS), a federal contractor and military equipment provider.

In a release on 11 May 2026, the company said that this procurement extends the deployment of SMASH systems within the US Army and strengthens its presence in US defence entities.

Smart Shooter expects delivery under the contract to be completed in the third quarter of 2026.

The SMASH 2000LE is an updated variant of Smart Shooter’s rifle-mounted fire control solution, which allows operators to engage aerial and ground targets, including small uncrewed aerial systems.

The system integrates external sensors and battle management technology, featuring computer vision, AI, and target tracking capabilities intended to address small drone threats.

According to Michal Mor, CEO of Smart Shooter, “This follow-on US Army award underscores the growing operational need for effective soldier-level counter-UAS capabilities and reflects continued confidence in SMASH systems from US defence organisations.

“As drone threats evolve in scale, accessibility, and complexity, armed forces increasingly require proven, field-ready systems that can be rapidly deployed and effectively operated at the tactical edge.”

The latest contract comes after the company secured its first contract from the US Joint Interagency Task Force 401 to supply SMASH 2000LE systems, spare parts, and training, under an agreement valued at nearly $2.4m in March this year.

Smart Shooter was also awarded a contract with the US Army in May 2025, and another deal with the US Marine Corps in July 2025.

In addition to the US, Smart Shooter’s range of SMASH fire control systems are in service with defence and security forces in Israel, the UK, Germany, Nato member states, and several allied nations.
