There are many benefits to using drones for military operations, but there are still things that unmanned systems can’t do that humans can. Finding that balance is going to be the major challenge for the US Air Force and militaries around the globe.

In the second edition of our new video series looking at the past, present and future of manned-unmanned teaming, we discuss the risks and benefits of these kind of systems. Joining Editor-in-Chief Aaron Mehta is Michael Marrow, our in-house air warpower expert, as well as Caitlin Lee of the RAND Corporation and JJ Gertler of the Teal Group.

To get caught up, check out the first video in the series here. And there’s more to come, so make sure to check back next week for the latest video!
